Volunteer Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy that has been serving the community since 2011. Our name is inspired by the state of Tennessee’s nickname, “The Volunteer State,” which reflects the spirit of our mission. We are dedicated to providing our community with high-quality pharmaceutical care, excellent customer service, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of our patients.

Compounding Excellence
Our compounding services offer expertly crafted compounded medications that meet or exceed the nation’s highest standards. We use only the highest quality ingredients and continuously monitor compliance to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our medications. Our state-of-the-art compounding lab is nationally accredited with PCAB and PersonalMed. We are also proud members of the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists.

Convenient Retail Services
Our retail services include huge savings on many prescription medications, with no discount card needed. We also accept most insurances and offer quick refills, a prescription management mobile app (Rx Local), and secure messaging directly to pharmacy staff. We provide vaccinations, medication therapy management, bubble-packing/compliance packaging, contraceptive prescribing, free delivery within a 5-mile radius of the pharmacy, a convenient drive-thru, and shipping options.

I've used Volunteer Pharmacy in Hardin Valley for years over the pharmacy my insurance recommends, because they are kind and go out of their way to save me money on my medications when CVS would not. They are also very professional when I need their help contacting my doctor and other pharmacies when the situation warrants it. I get no hassle like I do at CVS. I hope this pharmacy has much success because they deserve it.
Everyone is so extremely friendly and helpful. We lived in Hardin valley first and the moved to Rockford and I drove here to get my prescriptions. Then we moved back and I love these people. Six years we have been exclusively using Volunteer
